Data Integrity

Ensure your directory data remains accurate, complete, and up-to-date.

TeamOrgChart includes an Analysis feature to help you identify data issues and ensure consistency. A default analysis report is provided and is customizable, allowing you to add, modify or remove checks as required.

The default report will check your data for:

  • Missing or empty data values

  • Duplicate unique Id's

  • Missing managers

  • Circular references

Use the 'Run Analysis' button to start the report generation, this may take a few minutes depending on the size of your organization.

Viewing Data Integrity Checks in TeamOrgChart

It is recommended to run the analysis report whenever you create a new chart. This ensures any potential data issues are identified early, helping to maintain accuracy and consistency in your organization chart.

Accessing the Analysis Report

  • TeamOrgChart within Microsoft Teams: via the Views Menu.

  • TeamOrgChart in Web Browser: via the top level navigation tab.
